I’ve been involved in cheerleading since joining my first squad in middle school. The highlight of my years as a cheerleader was making the stomp-n-shake cheer squad at Jackson State University. (Rock the house, Tigers!)
From coaching beginner cheerleaders in my own backyard to consulting for major university squads (and everything in between), I’ve built a reputation for truly caring about the physical and emotional well-being of our cheerleaders.
While I still offer cheerleading classes and camps for cheerleaders on traditional and stomp-n-shake cheer teams, some things have changed.
Now, I offer in-person, virtual, or hybrid lessons for individuals, groups, and middle school, high school, and college squads, as well as in-person, virtual, and hybrid consulting for cheer coaches at all levels.
One more thing has changed since I began my adult cheer coaching career. Today I am proud to offer in-person, virtual, and hybrid cheerleading tryout consulting and complete coordinating services.
At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020, a colleague in Jackson, MS, asked if I could facilitate live virtual tryouts for her squad.
It was a novel idea—one that hadn’t been necessary prior to that time. I did a little online research, came up with a plan, and conducted live virtual cheer tryouts for the first time.
It was an instant hit!
My colleagues told their colleagues in Jackson, who told their colleagues, and so on until our services were being requested from East Texas through eastern Mississippi.
Now, I live in Tyler, TX, but I continue to serve clients in all three states—in-person and online.
I truly have a heart for cheerleading coaches and cheerleaders. Cheerleading is a lot of fun.
But tryout season can be a trying time for coaches and prospective cheerleaders.
Our cheer tryout services relieve the stress and make cheerleading tryouts fun and rewarding for coaches, cheerleaders, and their families.
